My goal was to introduce these emerging designers to an audience that could potentially hire them later. Since this group portrait was meant to be on the line-up pamphlet for the fashion show, in my eyes they had to look attractive and fun, visual qualities that can be appealing while considering a new team member, when one considers the candidate’s character. Their professionalism and seriousness were up to them to be shown in their collections.I chose to “stick them on paper” as if I am exhibiting them, and “hand the designers out” on the show day. I chose colour only as my “theme” because a trait that stood out as a class were their work’s rich colour chart choices. I wanted to show their figures, I wanted them to look as good as they wanted to be, I wanted them to look fun and appealing.
