Exhibition 70 years of ArtEZ

A 25 meters long handmade carpet with seven hundred forty eight alumni names that have studied over the last seven decades at ArtEZ Fashion Design Bachelor. 70 years of the University’s existance left many alumni around.
The city of Arnhem being a tight Fashion community, I meant to create an entertainment to guests who knew people or had their names on the carpet, while they waited for the doors to open. For those who didn’t study at ArtEZ, I meant to cause an impression on how many of us helped build the school.I chose this format to fill up the long space in a simple and effective way, considering the school’s budget. On the practical side, it fit the venue’s demands on security and on how long the exhibition was allowed there, (only during the show day).
